Tracy Fetting resigned as Booster Club president. Vice-President Sandy Elms was unanimously
voted in as President. Thanks Sandy!!!
Ms. Lucero will have a parent meeting to talk about:
- next year spiritline, size, JV/Varsity
- dance/pomline
- third person - teacher and SDOHS to help
Banquet:
- changed date to 03/11/09, Ashley approved this date
- need to RSVP to Ms. Lucero, the # attending
- volunteers to show up at 5:00 p.m. to help decorate the cafeteria
- will need volunteers to clean up
- catering Buca De Beppo ($5.00-$8.00 for Spaghetti only)
- MaryBeth to check with Caramba's Mexican Restaurant
- hopefully $6.00 per person for finger foods
- caterer to provide utensils
- need drinks, booster club to provide:
- rootbeer, coke, diet coke, sprite, water, ice

will be at the school, previous years was at the fountains, do not know why the school was
chosen for location.
Phyllis needs pictures to complete CD for girls. Can email or give her the picutres.
Next Year:
Sandy has a booklet that was given to all cheerleaders in a previous year that outlined the
rules, etc.:
- practice dates during the summer
- practices dates during the year/including some Saturdays
- camp
- events that cheerleaders will particpate in
- cheer pictures/ when and where
- goodies bags/list of dates for players
- homecoming
- fundraising
- uniforms
- competitions
A copy of this will be given to the next coach(s) to assist in communications/organization.
Booster Club to sell t-shirts at Freshman Day. Suggestion: white tank tops with O.C.
in rhinestones
Need a parent meeting after the try-outs, booster club information will be given at that time.
Would like more "bonding events"
- hiking once a month
- girls to work on dance routines to be performed at half-times
- summer activities
Continue with Jamba Juice for fundraiser. Announcements when they will be available
for sale, list in the Eagle Express. Need to have Jamba Juice approved by school for next year.
Fundraisers:
- punch cards for flowers, pizzas
- sell candy at $1.00 each (50% profit)
New football coach has been hired, from Tempe, looking forward to a great footbal team next
year.

- when are try-outs?
- will there be a J.V. and Varsity?
- who will be the coaches?
- how big?
- will SDOHS by 5A?
- will there by a summer camp for the girls to attend (may need to register ASAP)
There will be a Booster Club meeting the Wednesday after the try-outs.

The above information was discussed at the February 25, 2009 meeting. At the
next meeting, the minutes will be reviewed by the board members and a motion will be made to revise and/or accept these as
the official minutes of the SDOHS Booster Club.
