Minutes from 10/08/08 Meeting

WARM UPS- We are getting the same ones from last year.. so only ten of the girls need them.

CHEER CLINIC- I would love for the boster club to help get the food for lunch. I'm getting T shirts... They will be cheering only the 1st quarter of the game. The school knows about everything and it has been approved. The cheer clinic is from 8 to 12:15 so we will have lunch for them. If we could donate water that would be great but we don't have to. All the girls should be attending but some of the 10th greaders they have psat, but will come later.

HOMECOMING - YES I want to decorate the whole school thursday night and have dinner with all the girls. We are going to chalk the whole school ,signs, and decorate the stands.

COMPETITIONS - The 1st comp is on Nov. 22 at Desert Mountin High School. Kristen will email all the competitions today to everyone. We will be having more practices coming up.

CHOEROGRAPHY- I am going to re-think that and not have a charge for it, I'm going to let the girls do state.

HALLOWEEN - I want the girls to cheer at the whole game.

UNIFORMS - They should be here in the next week or so.

5 MAN TEAM - We will have 5 man this year for state.

- Booster Club will have "fun Halloween bags" for the cheerleaders. We will meet on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the career center to fill the bags. Nola will send out a reminder for members to come help.

- tax credit, who will need to pay. Money to be allocated for warm ups.

- the money in the school cheer account, can this be used to pay for the bus? Desert Storm? What is this money being/going to be used for?

- Homecoming, Friday: parade - fun to attend. Annoucements about Freshman, Sophmore, Junior court and then at the game will announce Senior king and queen. Each class has a float. School, hopefully, will get decorated.

- All girls should donate at least one $20.00 gift card. Raffle tickets will be sold at the game. Signs to be made to carry around, $1.00 per ticket or 6 for $5.00.
